1. What will I get back when I place an order?
If you send us an original photo for us to scan and return, you will receive the photo unmodified as well as any prints you ordered of the retouching.

2. Do you alter the originals?
No. Our retouching services are done digitally, your original will be returned to you unmodified.

3. My photos have mold & stains. Can you restore these?
Yes. These photos can be restored. Plus, the more info you can provide about a specific photo (i.e. the location of the shot, what should be in the background if missing, etc.) the more accurate the restoration. Do not worry if little is known about the photo as a high quality restoration can still be achieved using our custom techniques.

4. Can I send you photos in frames?
Yes. If for any reason you do not want to remove the photo from the frame just send everything "as is". Please note the photograph will be taken out of the frame for restoration purposes and placed back in it when shipped back to you. If the photo cannot be removed from the frame without further damage, then we will arrange to scan in the most accurate fashion possible.

5. Do you restore old artwork?
Yes. However, it depends on the size of the artwork. Remember, the restoration is a print of the original, We do not modify the original.

6. How do I place an order?
You can order 2 ways:
Fill out the "Contact Us" form (you are not required to upload a photo) and note in the instructions field that you are sending the photo through the mail - Send the photo to:

You may also mail us a disk or CD. Please note that the photos on disk or CD must be a resolution of at least 300 dpi and saved in an uncompressed file format.

You may scan or have your photos scanned and email them to us for retouching and/or restoration.

7. How should I package my photos for mailing?
Photo mailers are appropriate packaging for newer photos or negatives that just need color correction or retouching done. If the photo is old or damaged where it is extra fragile, we recommend that you:
- Sandwich the photo carefully between two pieces of thick cardboard (the edges of the cardboard should extend at least 1 inch beyond the photo)
- Tape the cardboard together on its edges.
- Place in an appropriate express mailer and express mail it to:

8. How long does it take to complete my order?
It depends. One photo that has moderate damage usually takes about a week to process during most of the year if you are ordering prints. The closer we are to a holiday, the longer it may take. Rush orders are available at additional cost. Please call for an estimate.

9. Do you do restorations or modifications of product or commercial photos?
Yes. We have expertise in commercial photo preparation and modification.

10. I only have the negative to the photo I want modified, can you still help me?
Yes! We can scan your negative or other transparency and make the necessary corrections the same way we would a print. (a $25 scan and handling fee will apply)

11. Can I see the results of the restoration before the prints are made?
Yes! We will post the results of the restoration online if you would like to see it before it is printed.
